United States · Graphite · U.S. Army Commercial Framework Signed

Titan Mining and the U.S. Army have executed a term sheet setting principal commercial terms for a graphite processing facility at Anniston Army Depot. LG Energy Solution has signed a binding four year offtake for Canadian spodumene concentrate; Lithium Africa has selected an on site DMS production route at Springbok in South Africa; Myriad Uranium has restored 100% control of its Arizona breccia pipe portfolio; Nouveau Monde Graphite and McGill University have developed a low carbon anode coating process; and Westward Gold has closed a C$8.28 million financing.

Titan Mining and the U.S. Army moved their proposed graphite processing partnership from conditional site selection into a term sheet setting principal commercial terms. LG Energy Solution committed to 240,000 dry metric tonnes of Quebec spodumene concentrate over four years. Lithium Africa selected on site DMS processing rather than a direct shipping ore sale at Springbok. Myriad Uranium restored 100% control of its Arizona breccia pipe portfolio. Nouveau Monde Graphite and McGill University reported a new coating process for anode materials. Westward Gold closed approximately C$8.282 million in private placement financing.

Signal 10Industrialisation and Midstream Delivery

United States · Graphite · U.S. Army Commercial Framework Signed

United StatesGraphite and downstream processingCommercial term sheet executed

What happened

Titan Mining announced on October 7 that its wholly owned subsidiary Empire State Mines and the U.S. Department of the Army executed a term sheet establishing the principal commercial terms for an Enhanced Use Lease at Anniston Army Depot in Alabama. The proposed facility would occupy approximately 97 acres of Army property and is intended to support commercial scale graphite processing.

Under the proposed framework, Empire State Mines would develop, finance, build, own and operate the facility. Phase I is designed for Purified Micronized Graphite, with Coated Spherical Purified Graphite planned after customer qualification. The contemplated lease includes an initial 50 year term and two potential 25 year renewals, while the Army would have a right of first offer over eligible uncommitted PMG and CSPG, capped at 10% of total annual facility production and subject to federal procurement requirements.

02

Binding offtake

Signal 01Structural Demand and Supply Alignment

Canada / South Korea · Lithium · Four Year Binding Offtake Signed

Canada / South KoreaLithium and battery supply240,000 dry metric tonne offtake

What happened

LG Energy Solution announced on October 7 that it signed a binding multi year offtake agreement with Elevra Lithium for spodumene concentrate from the operating North American Lithium project in Quebec. Supply is scheduled to begin later in 2026.

The agreement covers 240,000 dry metric tonnes of spodumene concentrate over four years. LG Energy Solution said the Canadian supply will support its North American battery and energy storage supply chain, while Elevra retains exposure to market pricing under the commercial structure.

03

Development route

Signal 10Industrialisation and Midstream Delivery

South Africa · Lithium · On Site DMS Production Route Selected

South AfricaLithium and mineral processingDMS development route selected

What happened

Lithium Africa announced on October 7 that it elected to advance the Springbok project in the Northern Cape toward spodumene concentrate production, targeting first production in the second half of 2027. The company has moved away from a planned direct shipping ore sale of the existing Norrabees I stockpile.

The revised route would process the existing stockpile together with newly mined pegmatite through an on site dense media separation plant. Mining at Norrabees I is already permitted under the existing Mining Permit, while construction of the DMS plant requires additional approvals. An initial Mineral Resource Estimate is targeted for the first half of 2027, followed by a preliminary economic assessment.

04

Asset control

Signal 07Geopolitical Concentration and Value Chain Control

United States · Uranium · 100% Arizona Breccia Pipe Control Restored

United StatesUranium, rare earths and asset controlOption terminated; 100% control restored

What happened

Myriad Uranium announced on October 7 that it terminated its June 2026 option agreement with Wedgemount Resources covering the Arizona Breccia Pipe Project and re assumed 100% ownership and control of the portfolio.

The portfolio comprises at least 24 individual breccia pipe prospects in northern Arizona. Myriad said no consideration is payable by either party as a result of the termination. One prospect, the Wate Pipe, carries a historical resource estimate, which the company does not treat as a current mineral resource under NI 43-101.

05

Processing technology

Signal 06Technology Integration and Innovation Depth

Canada · Graphite · Low Carbon Anode Coating Process Developed

CanadaGraphite, anode materials and coatingNew coating process developed

What happened

Nouveau Monde Graphite announced on October 7 that it developed, with a McGill University research team, a green chemistry coating process for anode materials. The company said the process is intended to reduce the carbon footprint associated with coating while meeting industry performance requirements.

NMG said the process uses readily available raw materials and remains compatible with existing manufacturing equipment. The development sits within the company’s broader work on active anode material and battery grade graphite products. The reported results were obtained at laboratory scale; long-term cycling tests and validation on industrial-scale equipment remain ahead.

06

Financing close

Signal 02Profitability, Capital and the Financial Gap

United States · Gold · C$8.28M Private Placement Closes

United StatesGold exploration and project financeC$8.28M financing closed

What happened

Westward Gold announced on October 7 that it closed its previously announced non brokered private placement, issuing 33,128,000 units at C$0.25 per unit for aggregate gross proceeds of approximately C$8.282 million.

The company said net proceeds will primarily support ongoing drilling and field programs at its Toiyabe Hills property on Nevada’s Cortez Trend, additional cash bonding connected with its U.S. Bureau of Land Management Plan of Operations and general working capital. Existing strategic shareholders Crescat Capital and Concept Capital contributed a combined C$2.8 million.
